Born in Veneto, a region to the north of Venice, my school education ended with the state school leaving examination. I completed my academic training in 2001 with an annotated translation of the German Income Tax Act as my degree thesis at the College of Interpreting and Translation in Trieste. My 4-year course of studies included several longer stays abroad with work assignments.
In 2003, I relocated to Germany. In 2009, I was appointed as sworn interpreter and translator in Hamburg. Since 2010, I have the official function of examiner for Italian in the fields of law and commerce, at the State Examination Office for Interpreters and Translators in Leipzig.
Regular further training ensures I can always fulfil my professional standard and philosophy of being a “cultural transmission belt”.
- I am a member of the following institutions:

- BDÜ – German Association of Interpreters and Translators, Berlin
